Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the apartment air conditioned?
The apartment is not air conditioned. We lived there for 1 year & we never felt
the heat. We have left a couple of fans in the apartment - but these have yet to
be used by any holiday makers. You can leave the sliding doors open at night and
the fly screens will keep any insects out of the apartment. But in all honesty -
I don't think the heat will be an issue in the apartment.
- Is there internet access?
There is internet access? wireless or plug-in cable.
- Is it on the beach, across the street from the beach or within a short walking
distance?
The address is 2/47 Denning St South Coogee - which is a 2 minute walk to Malabar
Road where all the buses to the City will stop. Transport Infoline
The apartment is a 10 minute walk to Coogee Beach, along the famous eastern suburbs
beaches coastal walk. This is a very popular walk along the coast (amongst locals
& tourists). People normally start the walk at Bondi and finish it at Coogee
Beach (unless you are living at Coogee - in which case - you do it in reverse!).
The walk to Bondi Beach takes about 1 hour. The walk is normally followed by breakfast
at one of the many cafes at Coogee Beach, Bronte Beach or Bondi Beach.
